Happy holidays for everyone! Now, back to business :) there are so many apps out there, and I tried literally all of them. All I can say is that these guys who developed them are cool. Facebook apps has made the life easier for for newbies and regular users. To my opinion, the only thing all apps are missing is nice design. I started learning Photoshop and designed my own simple fan page in PSD format. But then I faced few troubles with coding it to Facebook friendly type. I searched the web and found PSD2FanPage service. Now awaiting my project done. Fingers crossed :)

I tried with FBML. since input is an html tag and fb is an fbml tag, how can we have an fbml tag as html attribute? it gives me en empty textbox.

i need to have the value automatically displayed in the textbox without
prompting the user to enter their name. I hate the iframe apps that shows "Powered by ......" at the bottom of the page.

Yes, "Karen", there are a number of free apps for adding iFrame tabs.

I prefer TabPress, but perhaps that's because my company HyperArts developed it. :-)

You could do that with FBML but FBML is going away soon. You can't do it with iframe tabs without displaying the Allow prompt to the visitor, which sort of ruins the concept, eh?

Guys, I'd suggest you to try iFrame Tab Plus app from HostFB and build a tab with custom content easily. Get the app from http://hostfb.com/apps
